No stalling for traders

IT'S hats off to the city market traders who will be open as usual today.

Despite most of the nation stopping in their tracks for the royal wedding, it will be business as usual in Swansea Market.

Jan Evans, who runs Jan Evans Bakery, said: "A lot of my Friday customers have already come in as they don't know we are open 8am to 4pm.

"Carol Watts has organised a buffet so we will still be celebrating the wedding.

"There are around five traders involved and we have all contributed to the buffet. It is also a bit of thank you to the staff who are working."
