SOUTH Wales Police Authority can now be found on a popular social networking site.
People will be able to follow updates on the work of the authority on Twitter.
The tweets can be found in both English and Welsh languages on @south walespa and @ahdecymru.
Councillor Russell Roberts, chairman of the Police Authority, welcomed the move.
Mr Roberts said: "Social networking sites such as Twitter help to promote our work, and engage with the public of South Wales and beyond.
"By following us, you will receive regular updates and information, along with being able to engage directly with us."
The authority already has its own information page on social networking site Facebook.
