Preamble Hello. Today we have a rare treat: an Englishman England batsman playing in the IPL. And not just any old English batsman; it's the Irish genius, Eoin Morgan. His side, the Kolkata Knight Riders, will jump from fifth to second if they beat the bottom side Delhi.
Morgan could do with some runs, too. He has made just 22 in six matches so far, although he didn't bat in three of those, and he was run out in two of his innings. There are plenty of other stars on both sides: it's Pathan v Pathan (think Kramer v Kramer, only not), and we also have Virender Sehwag, David Warner, Jacques Kallis, Brett Lee and Gautam Gambhir. And, unlike in certain other sports, this match will be contested by actual grown-ups. Imagine!
