Dimitar Berbatov will return to the Manchester United squad for Sunday's Premier League visit to Arsenal.
The Bulgarian has missed three games with a groin injury sustained in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City earlier this month. However, he is available now as United chase the victory that would end Arsenal's flickering title challenge.
"Dimitar is fit again," Sir Alex Ferguson said. "He had a slight groin strain but he has trained all week."
In addition, the United manager said Darren Fletcher had come through a 45-minute reserve-team appearance without a problem on Thursday night and is now in line to play some part in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final decider with Schalke at Old Trafford.
"He [Fletcher] is progressing and it is possible we could include him on Wednesday for another 45 minutes," Ferguson said. "It is good that he is back. He has put his weight back on. He has worked hard in the gym. He is a great addition to the squad."
With Chelsea due to visit Old Trafford next week, United are anxious to avoid having their lead cut to three points on Sunday, although Ferguson is quite happy with the present situation: "Two months ago, everyone was looking at these matches as league deciders ? and they probably are. But we are going into them in good form so why can we not win them?
"Teams are going to drop points on the run-in, including Chelsea. Hopefully we get to a point where we need to win our last home game ? against Blackpool ? to win the league. I would take that."
