A music star in the making

WONDERING what to do on a slow, post-bank holiday Tuesday evening, my partner and I took a walk down SA1 and ended up at the cosy Americano Caf�.

Swansea singer-songwriter Karl Morgan had chosen the venue to kick back and play an intimate solo set. Karl, who is usually known for fronting his band The Click, got his acoustic guitar out and played a selection of material from his forthcoming album (Something Strange) and a range of covers. A self-confessed Beatles fan, Karl is so much more than a cover- merchant and, on the evidence of this, possesses the talent both instrumentally and musically to carve out a successful career in the music industry.
