Diet for a new era

FOOD for thought will be on offer in Swansea this month.

Clyne Valley Community Project is hosting a talk and a meal on the theme of food and global trends.

It will be illustrated with five international dishes, including vegan alternatives.

Catering will be provided by U3A chefs led by Dr Lyn Holt, who will talk about the reasons why a new diet approach is needed, and how to achieve it by eating more vegetable-derived proteins.

The event is in Sketty Park Environment Centre on May 13, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, and tickets must be bought in advance.
