An employee of the Pacific Forum Line was crushed to death by a container in the early hours of Saturday morning. A senior officer of the Samoa Port Authority confirmed this saying the incident happened at the wharf where containers are loaded.
He said that the man was believed to have been asleep when the container was accidently placed on him. A source at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital confirmed that the body is at the morgue.
