Inspector fined $800

A Police inspector was fined $800 by the District Court, yesterday. Luatimu Samau, 40, was convicted of actual bodily harm in relation to the beating of inmate, Fa?asalafa Sione.

Judge Vaepule Vaemoa Va?ai presided over the hearing. Samau was one of three police officers accused of beating Ms Sione during investigations into the mystery death of her daughter.
