KidsNet goes to Sagaga

By NiccolaHazelman-Siona

Future stars of netball at Sagaga District got a taste of the game this week, thanks to the Samoa Netball Association?s (SNA) KidsNet Programme. National Development Manager, Tui Hicks led SNA?s team to promote the game to hundreds of enthusiastic youngsters who took part.

And as many of them found out, netball is not necessarily for girls only. Even the gents had a blast as they put away their fancy rugby sidesteps for the round ball and a day of fun and laughter.

Finding the net though isn?t as easy as it seems, some of the boys admit.
Tomasi, of Faleula, says he?s always had the idea that all you have to do is hoof the ball downfield and the shooter does the rest.
