? Governing body to share data ahead of Olympics
? Co-operation will enable better target-testing
Track and field's governing body has signed an agreement with Britain's anti-doping agency to share athletes' drug-testing information ahead of the 2012 Olympics.
The International Association of Athletics Federations is the latest sports body to join forces with UK Anti-Doping.
The two organisations will share data from the biological passport programme, which monitors an athlete's blood profile for any changes that can indicate doping.
UK Anti-Doping says the agreement will help both sides implement target-testing of suspicious athletes.
The IAAF president Lamine Diack says the deal is "another step in our long-term co-operation with the UK authorities in the fight against doping in athletics, which becomes even more relevant in the perspective of the forthcoming Olympic Games in London".
