It?s official. Samoa has become a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Yesterday, Samoa signed the Protocol of Accession of Samoa to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization.
The signing signaled the successful conclusion of 13 years of negotiation and ushering a new era of international trading for this small island nation in the Pacific.
