Samoan Hockey Team visits Prime Minister

The Samoan Hockey team visited the Prime Minister at his office for a farewell yesterday afternoon. The men and women?s team are representing Samoa at the Oceania Pacific Cup in  Suva, Fiji next month.

Fa?amausili Taiva, President of the Samoa Hockey Associatiomn said the Samoan team came third in the rankings of all the hockey teams of the Oceania and therefore they are qualified for the tournament.

Prime Minister Tuilaepa gave words of encouragement.?Remember that you are taking the name of the country with you,? he said. ?So you have to do something to make them proud. Try your best and hopefully you will win and be qualified for the next Olympic Games.?
