Framed football shirts taken during burglary in Melton Mowbray.

​Thieves stole two framed football shirts from a garage in Melton Mowbray.

The burglary took place in Elgin Drive between 1am and 2.40am on Monday, March 7.

The raiders  stole a scooter, a black mountain bike and two framed Nottingham Forest shirts were taken. The bike was recovered burnt out in a nearby car park.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Pc James Berridge, who is investigating the incident said: "One of the Nottingham Forest shirts was red with a signed Stuart Pearce card and the other was a black away shirt. I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch.
