Days after a teacher from Vaie?e Safata pleaded guilty to the assault of an eight-year-old girl, a similar case of student beating has surfaced from the village next door, Fusi, Safata. Pa?i Talailevave Fa'apito, a mother of six children, recently lodged a complaint with the Poutasi Police after her fourth child, Koale, came home on 3 April with bruises on his arms, back and bottom.
?I didn?t notice anything different about my son when he returned from school that day but it wasn?t until later in the evening that he told me that he was suffering from the chills and that his whole body was aching,? she said.
