Eleven out of the 26 Manu Samoa team that won the1990 Rugby World Cup Elimination Round in Tokyo Japan did not make the 1991 Rugby World Cup team or play for Manu Samoa after the Tokyo round.
Although some of these fine and competitive characters did not play for Manu Samoa again their contribution is etched in Samoa Rugby History.
Western Samoa as we were then known was without any reasonable explanation excluded from the 1987 Inaugural Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
