A soccer team from the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa (CCCS) at Vaitele was crowned champions during the National Soccer League Tournament, last week. The Under 15s National League started last September as part of a development programme run by the Football Federation Samoa.
In 2010, the Vaitele team came third. But it was from that experience that motivated them to win the tournament.
CCCS Vaitele fielded three teams in the Under 12?s, Under 15?s and the A Reserve.
