Church issues statement

The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Samoa yesterday issued a statement to clarify its position on the time zone change, which is happening tonight. The statement is published in full, unedited:

Biblical Sabbath and the International Dateline change
When Samoa wakes up on the morning of Saturday 31st December, it will find itself sharing the same day of the week, Saturday 31 December with the countries such as NZ and Australia the majority of other Pacific island countries.
