Wolves to step up security for players if fans are hostile again

? Jamie O'Hara confronted by fans after defeat by Blackburn
? Unacceptable for players to be abused ? Terry Connor

Wolves players will be advised about their personal security when leaving Molineux if there is another hostile fans' reaction after Sunday's home game with Manchester United.

Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara was confronted by angry fans outside the main entrance when holding his toddler son after the 2-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers last weekend.

Supporters also tackled the club's owner, Steve Morgan, after the Rovers setback left Wolves in the bottom three of the Premier League.

Wolves' caretaker manager, Terry Connor, said: "It really is unacceptable for players to be abused on their way to their cars. If the same happens this weekend, the players will be advised not to go out through the front [main] entrance. They can leave the ground in a more secure manner.

"Whenever there is discontent, it is directed at one part of the club but it involves us all. We are all in it together. It affects us all."
