Charge against top Fireman dismissed

Fire Commissioner, Seve Tony Hill, is a happy man.  The man in charge of the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) left the District Court a pleased man yesterday after an assault charge against him was dismissed.

Police withdrew the charge against Seve because the key witness in their case had informed them he could not attend. He is in New Zealand.
