For the first four of six two-minute rounds, barely one decent punch connected. More action could be found in the crowd where a scuffle broke out. Cameron may have won a points decision, but it was utterly unconvincing and ultimately left his reputation as a credible contender in question.
If the trim Betham was gutsy to take this fight after his four-year retirement from the ring, he was mad to continually mock Cameron, dropping his hands and gesturing to give him the best shot. At the end of the first round, Betham confronted the title holder and whispered "bring it on". He never did, never looked like catching the defensively-minded Betham.
