A 22-year-old woman has been charged with attempted robbery after she allegedly sprayed her body deodorant at an employee of Western Union Money Transfer with the intention of stealing money. The incident took place last Tuesday at the Western Union branch at the Maota o Samoa complex, Tuana?imato.
Assistant Police Commissioner Le?aupepe Fatu Pula said Fialelei Ene Siaosi entered the money transfer outlet and sprayed the face of the cashier. Siaosi then demanded money. However, the cashier managed to thwart her assailant and called out for help.According to reports, Siaosi had raised the suspicions of staff by hanging around the money transfer outlet that day.
